Embassy Row Hotel Owners Complete $1M Renovation

The Bernstein Cos., owners of Courtyard by Marriott's Courtyard Washington Embassy Row, has wrapped up a $1.2-million interior renovation of the 156-room hotel.

Having owned the 80,000-sf property since 1998, Bernstein has since made it a priority to assure that the hotel is as comparable in style as possible to the foreign consulates and embassies surrounding Embassy Row. "Our latest renovation positions the Courtyard by Marriott very favorably in the market," says Bernstein Cos. president Adam Bernstein. "We provide a level of service that's on par with downtown full-service hotels, combining value with extraordinary comfort." One of the highlights of the recent upgrade is the new Starbucks café.

Located at 1600 Rhode Island Ave. NW, Courtyard Washington Embassy Row is within close proximity to the White House. The eight-story structure, formerly the headquarters of the National Rifle Association, also features 1,300 sf of meeting space.
